PASTOR

Carl has served as Pastor here at First Baptist Church since May 2011. He is a native of Hamilton, Alabama. Carl and his wife Ashleigh have three daughters: Madeline, Marleigh, and Meredith. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies at Samford University, and he received his Master of Divinity Degree in Pastoral Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

MINISTER OF MUSIC & SENIOR ADULTS

Tim came to FBC in May 2013. He is a native of Gadsden, Alabama. Tim and his wife Carla have one daughter, Melodie. He is a graduate of Samford University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tim leads our worship services each week, along with directing our sanctuary choir. He also ministers to our Senior Adults.

MINISTER OF YOUTH

Grant joined our staff in August 2022. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, and he earned his Master of Divinity Degree through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Grant is a native of Pierson, Florida.

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN/PRESCHOOL MINISTRIES

Margaret Anne joined our staff in May 2023. She is a native of Camden. She is a graduate of Auburn University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, and a Masters Degree in Consumer and Design Sciences. In addition to her role at FBC, Margaret Anne is the Executive Director of the Demopolis City Schools Foundation. She is married to Justin, and they have two daughters, Mary Britton and Kathryn Anne.

MINISTRY ASSISTANT

Sara joined our staff in February 2021. She is a native of Opelika. Sara is a proud graduate of Judson College, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies. Sara is also passionate about sharing her adoption story, and she frequently speaks in churches and at Women’s Ministry events across the state.

FINANCIAL SECRETARY

Dottie joined our staff in October 2021. She is a proud mom to her two sons, Billy and Michael, and she has several grandchildren that she loves dearly. She is a graduate of Linden High School, and prior to joining our staff Dottie worked for many years at the First Bank of Linden.
